Glory Reborn was founded over two decades ago with a mission to serve marginalized mothers and babies. Inspired by a desire for God’s glory to be reborn, Hilary and David Overton stepped out in faith to provide lifesaving maternal services in Cebu, Philippines.

What started in a small apartment with just three midwives has since grown into a fully licensed maternity clinic, offering 24/7 care and sustainable employment for Filipino healthcare professionals.

To this day, our clinic remains at 77C Cabreros St, Cebu City, Cebu, where we continue to fulfill this mission.

Glory Reborn received ultrasound training, making early glimpses of babies in the womb more accessible for mothers ever since.

Our HIV/AIDS program was born with the help of a volunteer, Melanie. All of our pregnant mommies receive free HIV education, counselling and testing by our trained staff. Since 2016 we also offer a support group for Women Living With HIV in Cebu as we felt women were being left behind in services addressing this epidemic. Our support group encourages them emotionally, spiritually and practically with health teachings, Bible sharing and nutritional support. We have been privileged to walk with these women as they face stigma, discrimination and challenges, offering a safe space for sharing, learning and fun.

March 28, 2020: Cebu went into lockdown, leaving many in uncertainty. Glory Reborn found itself in what was called the "worst place to live in" during the pandemic. Yet, with the unwavering support of our partners—through prayers, gifts, and aid—help poured in for moms in need.
